今天要介紹的是由Demi Lovato在2011年所發行專輯－Unbroken
中的主打單曲Skyscraper。
Demi是近年來美國知名度極高的一位藝人，
曾經是Disney旗下演員的她，
憑藉出色的歌喉，
於2008年獲得好萊烏唱片(Hollywood Records)的賞識，
開始走上她的歌唱之路。
好景不常，事業如日中天的她，
在2011年，因飲食失調與各種心理問題，
必須停止所有工作進入療養院治療。
同年，完成治療後的她發行了重返歌壇的第三張專輯Unbroken，
該張專輯中主打歌名為摩天大樓(Skyscraper)。
歌詞中描寫治療期間的心路歷程以及永不放棄的信念。
在整首歌中你能聽到Demi的歌聲是如此的具有穿透力，
讓在電腦前的你也能感受到那份與病魔纏鬥的痛苦，
以及不願屈於現實的不甘。
那撕心裂肺的痛是如此的叫人動容，
而更深一層的堅強更是深深觸動了心中那份柔軟。
編曲運用了簡單的鋼琴伴奏加上鼓點，
打造出了整首歌曲悲憾的氛圍。
並利用了輕柔和聲帶出源自內心的感動。
情緒面則利用氣音與帶有撕裂感的聲音表現痛苦，
並在B、C段加強力道，向世人表達內心的堅定。
